By registering your products, you are applying identification marks to your property. We take these identification marks and upload them to law enforcement/crime prevention databases to support recovery, crime investigation, and vehicle cloning. Your privacy is very important to us; this data will never be used for marketing purposes.
PIN2VIN uses high-quality, heat-resistant, and strong adhesive label material to provide your vehicle with theft-prevention identification marks. These labels have a PIN (Product Identification Number) that is directly linked to your vehicle’s Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). The PIN code on the label serves as a secondary authentication tool for vehicle components, just like your bank login's secondary security methods.
Once registered, the PIN code and the last eight digits of your vehicle’s VIN code (Year/ Make Model/State or Province) are provided for a public search. This engages the public in crime prevention efforts, as well as full registration details for any search by law enforcement investigations.
Our labels, linked to your vehicle’s VIN, are also uploaded daily to Nlets, the law enforcement exclusive data hub.
For catalytic converter marking, our label also acts as a stencil, providing a secondary ID mark.
